Job Description
Title: Graphic/Web Designer
Work location: remote
Work schedule: Mon-Fri normal business hours
Duration: Contract only for about 6 weeks. Will be extended based on business needs.
Pay Rate: $39- $50
• No visa restrictions
• Must attach/provide examples of web design projects with resume.
• Candidate must complete the Graphic Web Designer Assessment.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Graphic/Web Designer to execute the visual direction of our web presence. This individual will be responsible for the majority of our creative web design work, playing a crucial role in shaping our online brand identity and user experience. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a passion for crafting visually compelling and user-friendly websites. This role requires a blend of creative vision and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Web Design:
o Execute the design and development of visually appealing and user-friendly website and pages, ensuring responsiveness across multiple devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
o Translate complex information into intuitive and engaging visual experiences, creating the creative assets for our web properties.
o Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
o Present design rationale and champion creative solutions to stakeholders.
o Develop and maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all web properties.
o Stay up-to-date on the latest web design trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements and innovations.
o Contribute significantly to the overall web design strategy of the company.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in driving creative web designs, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of substantial projects.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AEM, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience with web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.
• Experience with AEM, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge is sufficient; front-end development experience is a plus).
• Ability to lead independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Updates to this requirement:
• Must have 5+ years of experience in driving creative web designs
• Experience and proficiency in AEM
3/3: The manager is not interested in selecting any of the candidates who were passed through or interviewed. Many of the candidates have UX/UI or development skills, but they are interested in candidates who have creative design experience with a focus on creatively designing websites and experience with AEM, the system used to build their website.
