We are seeking an experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office (This job is not remote). Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work independently on large projects and/or assist other civil engineers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Work on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects, permitting and alternative analysis.
Prepare, coordinate, and monitor projects from initial conception to final completion.
Monitor compliance of project to ensure industry codes and practices are adhered to and performance standards met.
Work in a team environment with the work involving studies, detailed design and engineering services during construction.
Give technical direction to a team to complete design tasks and elements.
Requirements
Civil Engineering Degree with Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Water/Wastewater related design and experience with construction-related engineering services with at least (5) years of project management experience.
Relevant experience shall include design of treatment facilities, collection systems, booster and pump stations, water, reclaimed water, and wastewater master plans.
Experience with construction-related engineering services with the ability to review Shop Drawings, RFIs, issuing Engineers Directives etc.
Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software capabilities.
