We are seeking a Full-Time Authorization Coordinator for Premier Rehab Physical Therapy and Aquatics, where our "together we're better" philosophy creates a culture that makes coming to work enjoyable for everyone.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent • 2+ years of recent insurance verification experience • 2+ years of prior and retro authorizations • 2 years of medical claim billing experience • Prior electronic medical records (EMR) experience; WebPT preferred • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel & Word or Office365. • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through speaking, listening and writing in person, phone or email.

• Demonstrates the ability to follow departmental procedures and instruction of professional staff. • Excellent customer service skills • Knowledge of basic health and government health care plans, insurance rules and contracts • Medical office terminology highly desired • Excellent and accurate data entry skills • Medical Coding Certification and/or Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) a plus • Self-motivated with general supervision • Organizational and detail-oriented skills • Great time management and multi-tasking skills • Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA compliance

Work Environment:
This job operates in an outpatient clinic environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Regularly required to talk or hear with use of phone Occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
