The Opportunity: Join Fisher Investments as a Digital Solutions Architect with a focus on Media and Entertainment. In this pivotal role, you will enhance our Client Portal's OTT/LMS functionality by integrating cutting-edge media technologies. Your work will ensure that clients and prospects experience scalable, secure, and engaging interactions worldwide, leveraging cloud-based solutions and AI innovations. You will be reporting to the VP of Marketing and Corporate Communications Technology Services. Your Daily Responsibilities: Architect and enhance the OTT/LMS platform utilizing cloud-native technologies such as Salesforce Stack (Experience Cloud, Personalize, DC) and Azure services tailored for media and entertainment. Design robust systems capable of supporting live streaming for 100K+ concurrent users, incorporating advanced media delivery and cloud-based content delivery networks. Implement secure, role-based authentication mechanisms that integrate seamlessly with enterprise identity providers like Okta and Auth. Drive content personalization initiatives using AI/ML technologies and data analytics platforms, including Salesforce Personalize & Data Cloud. Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to deploy sophisticated analytics and reporting features through cloud-based Business Intelligence tools. Ensure global usability standards through localization efforts, responsive design, and headless CMS architecture. Maintain a modular, API-first architecture to accommodate new content types and foster extensibility. Oversee compliance with international privacy regulations and establish adherence to internal standards. Your Qualifications: Required: Over 10 years of experience in the architecture and design of digital and OTT platforms specifically within the media and entertainment sector. In-depth knowledge of AI/ML technologies focused on content personalization and recommendation functionalities. Proficient in cloud-based media delivery and management utilizing services like Experience Cloud and Azure Media Services. Demonstrated ability designing platforms that support 100K+ concurrent users on cloud infrastructure. Experience with API design, microservices architectures, and cloud security protocols. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred: Hands-on experience with serverless architectures and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with data lakes and big data analytics platforms for analyzing user behavior. Knowledge of low-latency streaming technologies and protocols (e.g., WebRTC, DASH, HLS). Understanding of edge computing to enhance content delivery and minimize latency. Experience with cloud-native CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Compensation: Annual base salary range of $140,000 - $190,000; new hires should anticipate starting at the lower end based on experience.
