The Consumer Experience (CX) org at StubHub is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. We're in search of a content design leader who can approach design through the lens of language – ensuring clarity, consistency, and user empathy throughout our product, fostering strong connections with our fans worldwide.
As the Staff Content Designer for Core Experience, you will transform StubHub's event discovery-to-checkout experience by devising cross-platform content strategies, influencing product development, and defining a new vision for our brand voice. As one of the first hires on the Content Design team, you will shape foundational standards to elevate our product quality, grow and mentor teammates, and identify, prioritize, and lead content-led initiatives for the full funnel. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a builder mentality who enjoys working across levels – one moment you'll be building a business case for a new content investment, and the next you'll be crafting compelling micro-copy for our homepage.

This is a hybrid work opportunity located in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.
What You'll Do
- Transform our event discovery through checkout experience into a through brand voice and multi-media content storytelling investment initiatives.
- Translate industry and business data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations, enabling the creation of content that resonates with target audiences and supports broader business objectives.
- Set content strategy, write, edit, and test compelling in-product language for user flows, interface content, information architecture, product terminology, names, and education and marketing communications.
- Exercise strong product thinking and influence team vision, strategy, and product decisions.
- Expand our content design system and tooling, such as style guides, content libraries, term lists, and AI assistants to improve content quality at scale.
- Improve our localization process to ensure excellence in every language, elevating product experiences worldwide.
- Coach and guide other designers to grow their skills and elevate their work.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the company such as communications, business development, paid marketing, and legal to ensure a cohesive narrative and messaging strategy.
- Stay up to date with industry and cultural trends to ensure content design resonates with fans.
What You've Done
- 10+ years of professional experience in content design, content strategy, or UX writing.
- A portfolio demonstrating breadth and proven writing experience in consumer-facing content.
- Significant experience developing information architecture, content design systems, and messaging frameworks that scale.
- Proven track record of delivering product experiences with significant customer and business impact. You have experience shaping the product beyond the content design through influencing broader prioritization, product design, and experimentation design.
- Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams at all stages of the product development cycle.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative product development process.
- Experience in leveraging AI to scale high-quality content is highly desirable.
- Experience in marketplace businesses, a plus.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
