POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Manager of UX/UI and Digital Designer with a strong portfolio of work to lead and make an impact on a variety of user experience, advertising, and web focused design initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of user experience and interface design principles, coupled with exceptional graphic design skills with a major focus in ecommerce/digital marketing. You will be responsible for crafting intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centric digital experiences across our web platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain design excellence and maintain brand consistency.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
UX/UI Design: Create intuitive and engaging user experiences for web platforms (site, back office, app, mobile, check out experience, digital advertising (create ads), web content, etc., ensuring seamless navigation, innovative design, and usability.
Graphic Design: Develop high-quality visual designs for web interfaces, layout microsites, enhancing imagery on current site, new site pages, banners, digital advertisement initiatives, and various digital assets as needed incorporating brand guidelines and design standards.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Thoughtfully and rapidly produce wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.
User Research: Collaborate w/ key teams on user research, analyze feedback, and iterate designs based on user needs and behaviors.
A/B Testing: Expertise to test a variety of digital assets to improve KPIs you will collaborate with various teams in this regard.
Design Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of design strategies that align with business objectives.
Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in design elements and brand representation across all digital platforms.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in design and user experience.
AI Integration: utilize AI where it makes sense to augment projects.
What Youll Bring:
Experience & Expertise: At least 5 years of progressive UX/UI and graphic design experience in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Experience in app UX/UI design is a plus!
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and effectively integrate feedback.
Proactive Mindset: Youre a self-starter who sees opportunities, takes initiative, and executes with minimal oversight. You roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
Problem-Solving Skills: A solution-focused mindsetyou dont just identify problems, you find and implement answers.
Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and deliver well-researched, high-quality design elements on time.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools to create compelling visual assets.
Adaptability & Learning: A quick learner who takes feedback well and continuously improves.
Design Vision: A forward-thinking eye for design, ensuring assets resonate with our audience and maintain a strong brand presence.
Flexibility: Willingness to work off-hours as needed to collaborate with global teams.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the office. The employee may occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIORMENT AND EXPECTATIONS
Draper Utah Office-based position with the potential for hybrid work within the Utah State only, subject to approval.
Employees must maintain the same level of performance, engagement, and availability in hybrid settings as in-office roles.
