Type of Employment: Paid InternshipStart Date: May 2025End Date: September 12, 2025Compensation: $3,000/month stipend, college credit availableJob DescriptionThe Marketing Assistant will work together with the Senior Marketing and Gameday Manager to present a superior fan experience, promote the Keys brand in the surrounding community, and assist with implementation of the Keys marketing plan. We are looking for someone with both prior experience in graphic design and the desire to gain even more experience.We are looking to add a team member who is passionate about the sports industry and ready to hit the ground running. This position is fast-paced and involved in almost every aspect of marketing and game day, meaning you will learn a lot and contribute greatly to the Frederick Keys' 37-year legacy. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with other members of the Keys Marketing Team to create graphics, advertisements, social media content, in-game entertainment, and more. They will also gain invaluable leadership skills while assisting with planning events and being one of the managers for our Sports Introductory Internship program.QualificationsDegree from a 4-year program (or a current Junior/Senior)Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays, as requiredKnowledge of sportsEnergetic, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team playerMust handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve objectivesMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be enthusiastic with a desire to work hard and have funStrong knowledge of social mediaAbility to lead a small group of interns, produce and publish schedules, and assign tasksWilling to make appearances as or alongside our mascotComfortable interacting in front of large crowds with positive attitudePrevious experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.Must have basic computer skills in Microsoft OfficePhotography/video experience preferredGeneral ResponsibilitiesPull tarp before, during, and after games and on non-game days, as neededDatabase management for Keys Kids ClubOrganizing registration materials and membership prospecting efforts for the Kids ClubCreate promotional materials including but not limited to graphics for print and web, fliers for promotional use, registration forms and informational sheets for Groups and Sponsorship DepartmentsCreate content for Keys GameDay MagazineBe an active contributor to the Keys Marketing team, cultivating and implementing ideas, promotions and programs to grow the Keys brand as a wholeGame Day ResponsibilitiesCoordinating game day operations for select promotional dates (Kids Club events, Family Fitness Weekend, and other events as needed)Assisting in the implementation of game presentation (on-field promotions, prizes, etc.)Oversee and assist with management of the summer marketing interns including assigning roles, tracking hours, and scheduling.Taking part in on-field promotions as neededAssisting in management of Keys social media, as neededCreate game day social media graphicsAssist with on-field post-game duties including Kids Run the Bases, fireworks, and jersey auctionsAssist Senior Marketing and Game Day Manager with execution of game night activities and special themed events.
