You will support our Vice President of Marketing and Director of Content with critical brand-building initiatives, content development, and product seeding. Your work will be crucial in shaping the perception of our brands through the eyes of both trade and consumer audiences. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.The Marketing Associate's priority activities include but are not limited to the following:Be a key point of contact for premier tasting events across the country, managing multiple deadlines leading up to and through execution of the eventDevelop and maintain supplier travel itineraries around the United StatesProduce and update key marketing collateral with recent scores and accoladesCreate and maintain website pages for regular updates of industry news, PR features and scores from trade publicationsAssist the Vice President of Marketing with day-to-day media and influencer relations, brand activations and core programmingAssist with packaging and shipment of important samples and materials for events, press, sales managers and other key contactsCreate a social media posting schedule to leverage supplier travel in the market, release calendars, and upcoming announcements/news featuresThe ideal candidate will have:A proactive, positive, energetic attitudeA passion for problem-solving, exceptional organizational skills and a creative mindset1years event planning and management experienceA solid pulse on social media & hospitality industry trendsThe ability to work with speed and efficiency, without sacrificing qualityA knowledge and passion for fine wineExcellent referencesLocated in the New York metropolitan areaDuration: 6 months with option to extend furtherTechnical Requirements:A talent for writing clever and concise marketing copyFluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and other applications as neededAbility to make compelling presentation decks using Google Slides and/or Microsoft PowerpointAn understanding of how to utilize A.I. and automations to improve standard operating proceduresComfortable with public speakingAbility to lift 40 poundsJob category: Sales and Marketing
