Title: Digital Product Designer-Hybrid Location: Lisle, IL Duration: 5 Months
Description: Position Overview You will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for commercial vehicle service applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to create seamless experiences that meet the unique needs of our users in the commercial vehicle service sector. This hybrid position will support our Digital Solutions department within Service Solutions and be based out of our World Headquarters in Lisle, Illinois, a suburb outside of Chicago.
Responsibilities Lead the design process from concept to final hand-off, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions. Support UX Research initiatives as required. Develop user stories, personas, and storyboards. Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to support UI development. Validate and test UI concepts with end users using established usability testing methods. Track UX trends and look for creative ideas from analogous industries.
Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of digital product design experience At least 1 year of lead experience OR Masters degree and at least 3 years of digital product design experience At least 1 year of lead experience OR At least 8 years of digital product design experience At least 1 year of lead experience
Desired Skills Experience working with agile product teams to deliver impactful digital experiences. In-depth understanding of modern design principles and user research methodologies. Ability to lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development to high-fidelity deliverables, including wireframes, complex user flows, and prototypes. Experience in creating and maintaining design systems, pattern libraries, and reusable components. Expert level proficiency in modern design and research tools like Figma, Mural, Maze or similar.
