We work a hybrid model (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home); this position is located in our Minneapolis Metro headquarters. Our Recognition Solutions Department is seeking to fill a Design Manager position on the Traditional Recognition team. The Design Manager is responsible for sourcing, recommending and selling awards and merchandise solutions for our customers. Responsibilities of this position: Partner with internal and external customers to determine appropriate awards and merchandise for their recognition programs. Collaborate and negotiate with our vendors to source symbolic and merchandise awards, incentives and premiums. Prepare written proposals with creative solutions, timelines, and pricing. Work closely with the project team to present and sell the proposed solutions to our clients. Seek out and apply industry trends and technology to client solutions, proposals and presentations. Effectively manage multiple ongoing and new projects. Work well in a process-oriented, team-based environment. Required experience & education: 3+ years of related experience in the recognition, corporate gifts or promotional products industry. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Office; with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Important skills include a strong drive to sell, good organizational and multi-tasking skills. BA/BS Degree is highly preferred. Base Salary Range: $70K to $75K. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills.
