The RoleReporting to the VP, Brand Strategy, the Associate Media Director will apply critical and creative thinking beyond the scope of media solutions including translating expectations into deliverables and communicating those deliverables across departments. Associate Directors on the team must have a strong comprehension and application of marketing objectives and solutions through writing and presenting strategic, executive-level documents. Managing communication and balancing agency relationships across departments is also critical.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Strong comprehension and application of marketing objectives and strategyExcellent understanding of Digital media planning and buyingInnovate existing media process to be more efficient and more innovativeAbility to generate and evolve ideas proposed internally and by media partnersManage the development, writing, presenting, and executing media recommendations and POVsWork with the internal teams to develop and utilize intuitive, thoughtful, helpful performance analysis and metricsAbility to collaborate and generate ideasHave an intimate knowledge of the client’s brand and product detailsBe proactive: Show interest in constantly learning and growingCollaborate effectively in cross-team settings, including other departments such as creative, production, account management, analytics, strategy, and project managementTake the lead on working with Analytics and Investment teamsEnsure workflow and process procedures are followed and manage expectations accordinglyResponsible for coaching, guidance, inspirational leadership, and performance management of all direct reportsOrganizational skills to manage and prioritize team daily workflowLead by example, find solutions, and strive for excellence in all areasAble to direct the team and foster an environment for growth and learningEnsure that deadlines are met, including managing expectations internallyPromote an open and supportive working environment where opinions, views, and ideas are welcome and sharedQualifications:

Working knowledge of media research tools (IMS, MRI, Nielsen, ComScore, Simmons, etc.) and ability to analyze syndicated researchAbility to prioritize a large volume of work as well as manage team deliverables and provide feedback in a timely fashionStrong presentation skills, ability to communicate with internal managers and clientsPossesses a solid and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks flexibly and communicate priorities to direct reportsStrong organizational and analytical skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to follow throughExtremely detail-oriented and preciseProven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationshipsExperience & Education:

Bachelor’s degree required5 years of experience in Media Strategy or Planning2+ years of mentoring and developing staff$110,000 - $115,000 a year#J-18808-Ljbffr
