Job Title:Marketing Associate
Location: San Francisco, CA- hybrid schedule (up to 4 days a week onsite)
Pay Rate:$35-$40/hourly
Duration: Contract to start w/ potential to turn into a FT role
Responsibilities:
• Design digital and print marketing materials for social media channels, marketing events and activations.
• Create and update website content and manage website vendor to implement SEOstrategy.
• Launch bi-monthly email marketing campaigns and ad-hoc one-off alerts.
• Create advertising materials, generating ideas for adverts and campaigns.
SOCIAL MEDIA
• Manage all social media platforms
• Develop social media strategies.
• Design Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn and other platform's posts.
• Develop and execute social media campaigns.
• Find and hire influencers who can promote your posts.
• Post quality content that engages the reader and markets the various businesses in thedistrict.
WEBSITE
• Maintain and update website content to reflect accurate member and stakeholder information in Salesforce to promote changes and promotions.
• Collaborate with the website vendor to optimize content for search engine performance, monitor site performance, and promptly communicate any issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
DIGITAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns by creating and updating landing pages to drive traffic and conversions.
• Design, draft, and distribute high-impact newsletters for members, consumers, and brokers, including regular updates and one-off alerts.
ADVERTISING AND PRINT
• Identify and evaluate advertising opportunities to maximize program visibility and reach.
• Draft and manage advertising contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budget, and compliance.
• Develop and design compelling advertising assets to support programming initiatives.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
• Create press releases and media alerts to highlight newsworthy moments, events, and seasonal campaigns.
• Draft official quotes, statements, and talking points on behalf of Chief Executive Officer for media and public communications.
SPONSORSHIPS
• Collaborate with the sponsorship consultant to identify and secure potential sponsorship leads.
• Align sponsorship opportunities with organizational goals and match them with
appropriate partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in related field to art/design, marketing, political science, or urban planning (recent college graduates are encouraged to apply).
• At least 2 years of marketing (consumer or business) related experience including website and social media oversight.
• Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with CRM databases (Salesforce), Adobe Suite, Canva, and other graphic design software.
• Excellent written communication skills, including social media and website copy.
• Photography and/or graphic design experience
• Experience with website management and social media
