THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will create, edit, and finish video and audio recordings for multimedia projects, individually or as part of a group, in support of department training, outreach, and education projects. Our team will rely on you to transform written scripts or storyboards into cohesive assembly edits for initial review, use best practices and independent judgment on visual representation of projects, and assist with a variety of tracking, analysis, and feedback processes. This includes monitoring the completion of agency-specific training, tracking customer views on all videos, reviewing feedback on completed projects, and responding directly to taxpayers, their representatives, and tax practitioner's inquiries via telephone and e-mail. You will also organize and present ideas to large groups and senior management.
Responsiveness, adaptability, and an understanding of principles and techniques related to video, audio, and multimedia production are essential for proposing additional video content or enhancements to existing videos based on customer inquiries, as well as identifying new methodologies in tax outreach and development to make recommendations on new software and outreach resources. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week, after the successful completion of in-office training for six months. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have at least one year of experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- You must have experience in Audio/Video editing.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment. Under Pub 1075, acceptance of a conditional offer of employment will require submission to and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to: a fingerprint-based federal records check; a PA State Police clearance; a check of local law enforcement agencies where you have lived, worked, and/or attended school within the last five (5) years; and a citizenship/residency verification.
