About The Role

ASC is looking for a data-driven and strategic Channel Business Analyst that is responsible for executing and implementing the company’s pricing, rebate, and promotion strategy to maximize both revenue and profitability via mix management, pricing actions and promotional opportunities. This individual will support the vision for making pricing and rebate decisions across our customer base. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing analytically backed promotions that will be used to improve performance in strategic products or underperforming categories. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, has a can-do mindset, a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence.

How You Will Help:

Price Revenue Management:

Implement the strategy and processes to optimize price to maximize both profitability and volume. The strategy must allow the business to be agile and react to market changes and should be in conjunction with Product Manager pricing strategies. Support processes and tools to manage pricing for large-scale customer conversions. Utilize customer VOC (both internal and external) to create new or improved pricing simplification, tools, and communications. Rebate Management:

Implement processes for distributor and contractor rebate programs that incentivize customers growth while optimizing profitability. Implement processes and tools that enable sales to effectively utilize customer rebates as additional leverage in selling conversations (e.g., Reports of Progress to Goal Quarterly, Online Rebate Portal for Customers, etc.) Promotions:

Implement promotions for buying groups, national accounts, and specific products that energize all stakeholders and deliver growth. Work with National Account Managers and Buying Groups to engage in customer driven promotional opportunities. Utilize analytics to adjust and improve future promotion performance vs hypothetical or past performance. Additional Responsibilities:

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and IT to ensure alignment to strategic objectives. Analyze and track market share, and competitive landscape. Track all program effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements. What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field 5+ Years experience in pricing, channel management, product management, analyst, or similar field Strong track record of growing both top and bottom line via pricing, rebate, and promotion activities. Solid analytical skills with a strong understanding of key business and financial metrics such as sales and gross margins. Experience with business analytic tools such as PowerBI, Snowflake, and excel. Project management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated success communicating effectively across the business. Customer-focused, can-do mindset with a passion for problem-solving and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement Strong leadership abilities with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting annual objectives.
