Job Purpose

The Director, Strategic Solutions, Media will lead the expansion of CHIMEs media and research capabilities, driving engagement with healthcare technology vendors and target the healthcare provider market through our media and research division, DHx. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role requiring a hunter mentalityproactively identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding CHIMEs reach, and penetrating untapped accounts.

As the media expert within the Strategic Solutions team, you will identify key corporate members with strong potential for media partnerships and craft targeted strategies to maximize opportunities. Leveraging a consultative sales approach, you will work closely with clients to understand their unique marketing objectives and assemble tailored media solutions that align with their goals.

Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, deep industry insight, and strong relationship-building skills. With access to an engaged and growing audience of senior healthcare decision-makers, you will play a critical role in positioning CHIME as the premier media and research partner for healthcare technology vendors.


Duties and responsibilities

    • Demonstrate success in penetrating new accounts and building a sustainable book of business.
    • Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas and demonstrate a strong track record of over quota performance.
    • Successfully launch and position new products and services to market.
    • Quickly develop or be equipped with a solid understanding of the healthcare and healthcare technology space and the key market drivers.
    • Thorough understanding of B2B digital marketing strategies, including content marketing, lead generation, account-based marketing, retargeting, social media, and custom content development.
    • Effectively articulate the value that CHiMEs media, marketing, and community solutions bring to the market.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally within the Strategic Solutions team and broader CHIME sales teams to drive revenue opportunities. Identify and develop cross-sell opportunities with the wider CHIME portfolio of solutions, CHIME Foundation member programs, ViVE event sponsorships, Innovation programs, international opportunities, and other programs as launched.
    • Develop and evolve a sales plan to achieve revenue goals.
    • Develop and execute new revenue opportunities to further advance the financial success of Digital Health Insights and Digital Health Analytics.
    • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and diligently update all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in the HubSpot CRM system.
    • Work with marketing team to develop and execute a regular cadence of market-facing messaging to drive new leads into the pipeline.
    • Expert client service and custom support as needed with an ability to identify and resolve client concerns.
    • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring customer success and proactively addressing concerns to maintain long-term relationships.

Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree required; masters degree preferred.
    • Proven track record of successfully building and growing a book of business.
    • Successful history of hitting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and yearly quotas.
    • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, with a focus on digital marketing solutions, lead generation programs, podcasts, custom content, and/or research solutions.
    • Knowledge of healthcare market industry is a plus.
    • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong ability to build and nurture client relationships, understand objectives and recommend optimal strategies.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) including spreadsheets, pitch decks, and presentations.
    • Experience with HubSpot CRM system is preferred.
    • Effective time management skills, with the abilityto prioritize and meet deadlines while working independently.
    • Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience selling marketing solutions in B2B sales environment.

This is a remote based position; however, some travel will be required.
