We are hiring a

House Head Audio

position at Meymandi Concert Hall, located in our Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. Outside of regularly scheduled days off, the Head Audio will be expected to work any on-call hours assigned. At least two weeks’ notice is required for any requested days off, pending approval of Production Manager. The Head Audio is not required to be on call but may be asked to come in with short notice. Additionally, this position may be required to work outside of department and/or specific area of responsibility as needed. This role works 30 hours per week as a Permanent Part-Time position and contributes to the Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System (LGERS) at a 6% employee contribution in addition to eligibility for 401k/457 retirement plans and medical benefits. Responsibilities:

Supervises a team of up to 12 additional stagehands or works alone and independently to make decisions with very little direct guidance. Completes given assignments within the scope of the audio department with little to no direct guidance. Maintains equipment in good working order which is relevant to the operations of the activities and staff overseen. Reports back any issues to their supervisor to be dealt with in the appropriate manner. Receives preference for all work calls in the primary area of responsibility as well as any other performance or operational areas within the MMCPA. Education and Experience:

Three (3) or more years of experience in operating and directing teams in the safe and proper use of audio systems, including directing the safe and proper use of such equipment. Significant knowledge and experience in theatrical stage audio operations, reinforcement, networking, and control (both analog and digital). Note:
