Amazon Japan Store Tech (JST) Big Innovation Team is looking for a talented, passionate UX designer to design and innovate for Amazon JP’s customers.

Key job responsibilities:
Propose innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges by considering market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings. Quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details. Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, interaction flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Deliver work that's user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, and also produces results. Develop and maintain detailed UI specifications. Present design works to project team for review and feedback. Effectively communicate co-work with tech team to ensure the quality of the implemented UI.
A day in the life: As a UX Designer, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to gather insights about customers and apply your expert information architecture and interaction design skills to the needs and problems you uncover. You will tackle the most significant challenges, generating and evaluating concepts, detailing solutions, and tracking improvements to customer experience and business health.
About the team: JST Big Innovation Team (BIT) owns dynamic and growing multi-billion dollar business. We take advantage of Amazon’s scale to build and grow our eCommerce business with the same high level of standards that Amazon customers expect. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience. - Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs. - Experience guiding or managing user research and usability testing.
