Summary An American company operating online food ordering and food delivery is seeking a contract designer to support high-priority projects on its Commerce Platform. The platform offers products and services designed to help merchants grow and optimize their business. The designer will be responsible for ensuring that merchants can run low-friction, high-ROI businesses and deepen their relationships with customers through well-designed tools and interfaces.
Responsibilities : Explore complex, ambiguous problem spaces, collaborating with the team to identify opportunities and chart a path forward. Use quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform design decisions iteratively. Own end-to-end design (user flows, interaction, visual, etc.) across multiple products and projects. Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams like UX Research, Product Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations, and Marketing.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a product/UX designer in a relevant industry. Comfortable working in ambiguous problem spaces and bringing clarity to teams through mastery of the design process. A strong appreciation for high-quality, well-crafted visual design and attention to detail. Experience with multi-sided marketplaces, ecommerce, and complex workflow tools is a plus.
Skills: Figma Experience with Design Systems Interaction/UI Design (Wireframing) Expert use of design tools or the ability to quickly adapt to them
