Position Description - Manufactured Housing Community Manager

At WGP Property Management, a Three Pillar Company, we’re a professional property management company specializing in operating great manufactured housing communities, RV parks, and apartment communities that our Residents are proud to call home. Headquartered in Los Altos, California, we manage 75 communities across 13 states, and approximately 7,400 units! As an ideal candidate for the Community Manager position, you will be responsible for delivering a safe, reliable, and attractive community for our residents.

Housing is included in this position, but the Community Manager is responsible for paying the utilities.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Ensure safety and compliance within the community.
  2. Maximize profit and home sales.
  3. Manage resident relations.
  4. Optimize physical assets.

Community Manager: Role Duties

The community manager is the single person responsible for all aspects of the community. The community manager’s core task is to deliver a safe, reliable, attractive community that residents proudly call home.

The community manager is responsible for four key performance indicators (KPI) that help drive our business:

  1. Ensure safety and compliance within the community. Understand and comply with Federal Fair Housing Law (via training) and OSHA safety standards for all work performed.
  2. Maximize profit and home sales. Responsible for the revenue of the community, selling homes, advertising vacancies, and educating new residents on community rules and regulations.
  3. Manage resident relations. Manage community programs and events, write community newsletters, and enforce community rules.
  4. Optimize physical assets. Serve as the single person responsible for the appearance, attractiveness, and reputation of our community.

Community Manager: Requirements

  1. Must be able to use company computer, property management software, and technology tools assigned.
  2. Must be able to operate a vehicle and have a current, valid driver’s license.
  3. Must demonstrate safe driving through a clean driving record.
  4. Must be available to quickly arrive at the community to address property emergencies.
  5. Must be physically able to maneuver throughout the community on paved or unpaved roads.
  6. Must be physically able to access the side and rear of manufactured homes to read utility meters.
  7. Must be physically able to walk the community multiple times weekly.
  8. Must be capable of reading utility meters and physically capable of painting and identifying colors.
  9. Must be willing to submit to random drug testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
