Overview

Areas of Expertise & Special Skills:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing and developing instructor-led and web-based eLearning programs for technical sales audiences, or equivalent experience.

Proficiency with eLearning content authoring tools such as Articulate 360 suite, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.

Experience with responsive eLearning design for multi-platform delivery.

Intermediate multimedia development skills, including graphics manipulation, template development, and user interface design using Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Ability to review and refine training materials to ensure learning objectives are met and incorporate SME/stakeholder feedback.

Experience creating and maintaining various training materials such as eLearning modules, simulations, instructor-led sessions, and quick reference guides.

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

Experience managing content in a learning management system (e.g., SABA).

Skilled in creating, editing, and publishing screencasts.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to adapt to change and develop innovative solutions.

Team-oriented with a collaborative work style.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess learning needs by collaborating with global technical representatives and channel managers to develop effective training solutions.

Partner with portfolio managers, services managers, and technical presales subject matter experts to gather content for training materials.

Design and develop sales materials and training with a focus on how technology and software solutions address business challenges.

Deliver live and recorded product solution updates to global sales and services teams.

Maintain online and instructor-led course content, curriculum materials, and assessments.

Evaluate and update sales education development plans to align with team, organizational, and company goals.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Familiarity with the TGCS product portfolio and global sales channels is essential.

The demand for sales enablement and product training is high, with limited resources to meet these needs efficiently. This role can reduce costs by:

Assessing and implementing the most cost-effective training methods (e.g., converting instructor-led training to eLearning or blended programs).

Utilizing rapid eLearning tools for responsive web training.

Enhancing the skills and knowledge of sales channels, potentially increasing revenue generation.

Complexity:
This role requires an in-depth understanding of TGCS product portfolios, sales channels, and processes. The instructional designer must possess intermediate knowledge of instructional design and adult learning methodologies, coupled with enthusiasm for learning and adaptability.
