PIVOTstudio is a small, multi-disciplinary team with an office just north of the FC Cincinnati Stadium. We are a collective of 30 architects, interior designers, and graphic designers and are looking for Graphic Designers to bring their well-rounded design and technical skills to our studio.

At PIVOTstudio, disciplines are not segregated but intermingled, and are often working on projects together. Many clients seek us out because of our highly integrated approach to design and documentation. Our projects are primarily in the hospitality industry, but we also have projects in restaurant and entertainment venues, retail, as well as some fun local “one-off” designs.

Preferred Experience

We look for the “fit of the person” to our studio, not a specific experience level. Responsibilities are based on your experience and are traditional to a professional Graphic Designer. We play to your strengths but do not separate design and documentation; everyone participates throughout the entire design process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design at an accredited University
• Professional experience or equivalent in appropriate education and experience working in the field of Graphic Design

Preferred Knowledge + Skillset

• Work in a collaborative team environment
• Understanding of design expectations and the level of quality service to clients
• Clear, effective communication (both verbal and written)
• Strong typography and design skills
• Basic knowledge of designing branded environments, to scale
• Basic knowledge of graphic fabrication processes
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator (with CAD Tools), and InDesign
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is not required, but is a plus
