Job Summary

The Graphic Designer role requires a mix of creativity, leadership, and technical expertise to deliver visually compelling work that drives engagement and achieves business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and possess strong design skills to create high-quality graphics for digital and print media. As a Graphic Designer, you will work closely with clients and team members to conceptualize and produce creative designs that align with brand identities and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizing and designing visual elements for a variety of media, including websites, social media, advertisements, brochures, logos, packaging, and more.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams, clients, and other designers to develop design solutions that meet project goals.
  • Creating layouts, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts to clients or team members.
  • Selecting colors, fonts, images, and other design elements that fit the project’s vision and brand identity.
  • Ensuring consistency of design elements across multiple platforms and marketing materials.
  • Revising and updating existing designs based on feedback from clients, marketing teams, or supervisors.
  • Preparing files for print and digital production, ensuring they are optimized and meet the required specifications.
  • Staying current with industry trends in design, digital tools, and software to continually improve skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must reside in the United States and work must be performed in the United States.
  • B.S. in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Local government experience.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and branding principles.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant tools.

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data and insights in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range - The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $67,020.00 - $113,934.00 N Carolina Client Office (NC88).
