To reinforce our Commercial team, we are looking for a Commercial Graphics Coordinator.

Job Purpose

The Commercial Graphics Coordinator is responsible for validating customer artwork and acting as the bridge between agencies, printers, and customers. This role ensures that all artwork meets the required standards and specifications before going to print, facilitating smooth communication and coordination among all parties involved. They will act as the gatekeeper and project coordinator of incoming creative job requests. They will work closely with company stakeholders, our pre-press house, and customers to understand requirements and effectively communicate to the creative and production teams. They will prioritize jobs helping to ensure quality work is produced in a timely fashion.

The Commercial Graphics Coordinator must be highly organized, a detail-oriented thinker, an excellent communicator, understand the creative process, and be an excellent project manager. They must also be able to track and drive the completion of numerous small and large-scale projects simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities & Key Tasks
  1. Artwork Validation: Review and validate customer artwork to ensure it meets all technical, regulatory, and quality standards. This includes checking for correct dimensions, colors, and file formats.

  2. Art changes: Working directly with our pre-press house to complete new projects for new launches or art changes. Obtain all project details for each creative job request, including reference assets, dielines, resource files, and previously created templates. Also, help manage when we need to expedite the inevitable “rush jobs.”

  3. Coordination with Agencies and Printers: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, external agencies, and printers. Ensure that all parties are aligned on project requirements and timelines.

  4. Customer Communication: Communicate directly with customers to gather artwork requirements, provide updates on project status, and address any concerns or issues.

  5. Project Management: Track and manage artwork projects from initial submission to final approval. Ensure that all deadlines are met and that any changes or revisions are communicated promptly.

  6. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams regarding artwork specifications and prepress processes.

  7. Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on all artwork to ensure it meets the company's standards and customer expectations while working closely with the product and regulatory team.

  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all artwork submissions, approvals, and revisions. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. Assist in the closing out and archiving of creative projects.

  9. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve prepress processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

  • Must have experience working in creative in-house, agency or equivalent environment.

  • Must have project coordinator/management experience or prior traffic management experience.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other prepress software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with workflow of packaging and graphics projects.

  • Proactive and organized liaison between customer, commercial, and plant teams to facilitate workflow of creative projects.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Fluent in Spanish.

Additional Information:

  • This role may require occasional travel to meet with customers, agencies, or printers.
