Girls Apparel Designer, Prints & Graphics

Our client is searching for an Apparel Designer to create graphics and prints for their kidswear.

Base Pay Range

$30.00/hr - $34.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Adobe Suite to create CAD images and prints for kid's apparel
• Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts
• Pull inspiration imagery and develop mood board and original artwork
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
• Collaborate with designers on trend concepting
• Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
• Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines
• Support multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Research seasonal trends, themes, color, raw materials, and styling
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity
• Create design card tech packs
• Approval of lab dips and fabric/yarn submits

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years experience required
• High taste level and creative ability
• Knowledge of seasonal silhouette and color trends
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented, good follow through
• Strong organizational, communication, and written skills
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Skilled with PLM system
• BA Fashion Design
