Tecovas is looking for a PR & Partnerships Manager to oversee Tecovas’ communication efforts and partnerships, ensuring alignment with the core values of the American West while advancing the brand’s growth into broader, Western-adjacent markets. Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Partnerships, you will drive 360-degree communications strategies, lead editorial campaigns, manage brand partnerships, and cultivate strong media relationships, with the goal of positioning Tecovas as a leader in the Western, Work, fashion and lifestyle sectors.

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

What you’ll do:

  • Brand Stewardship: Act as a custodian of Tecovas, ensuring authenticity and credibility within both Western and broader fashion contexts as the brand expands into new markets.
  • 360 Communications Strategy: Lead the ideation, development, and execution of integrated communications plans, including product launches, campaigns, and events that generate earned media value while preserving brand equity.
  • Brand Partnerships: Strategize and oversee day-to-day management of brand partnerships and collaborations.
  • Media & Influencer Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with key publications, influencers, and media professionals to secure high-quality media placements.
  • Thought Leadership: Identify and leverage opportunities to elevate Tecovas’ presence in fashion, business, Work and Western lifestyle media, positioning the brand as an industry leader.
  • Editorial Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted editorial campaigns and manage a comprehensive pitch calendar that covers national, regional, and niche lifestyle media, as well as long-lead and short-lead editorial opportunities.
  • Storytelling & Content Creation: Drive compelling brand storytelling initiatives, highlighting key product launches, business updates, and cultural moments within the Western lifestyle space.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the creation and execution of launch materials, including press releases, spokesperson Q&As, product presentations, and event guidelines, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with the Sr. Director of Partnerships to align PR efforts with influencer, ambassador, and affiliate marketing programs.
  • Affiliate Marketing Program: Manage and execute the affiliate marketing program, ensuring strategic placement and maximizing brand exposure.

Experience we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in PR, Communications, or brand partnerships, ideally within the fashion, lifestyle or Western industries.
  • Proven ability to manage media relations and secure high-value press coverage.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning and strategic communications.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for the American West and its cultural significance within the fashion landscape.
