Job Description
- Working for the Upstream division of the client, responsible for making multi-million dollar decisions.
- Forming and communicating these decisions requires a team of talented scientists, engineers, and operators.
- The role involves conducting generative and evaluative research to understand users' current state and identify opportunities.
- The UX Designer/Researcher will work with project teams to define the value potential of an opportunity and develop potential solutions.
- The role offers an opportunity to work with users across the globe and gain a deep understanding of the unique, scientific challenges of the Oil & Gas industry.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, Information Science, or similar field.
- Experience leading substantial qualitative and mixed methods research projects.
- Understanding of various UX research methodologies.
- Must have work samples demonstrating research process and methods.
- Must be able to work onsite in Spring, TX.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in Oil and Gas or other Engineering/Scientific domain is a plus.
- Experience in Big Enterprise UX Experience Problems is a plus.
