Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video, in addition to producing Original content for Freevee, Amazon's premium free streaming service.

We're seeking a Creative Director to lead video advertising initiatives across consumer, B2B marketing, and events. This senior creative leader will drive the creative vision and execution of video marketing campaigns that captivate audiences and drive viewership of our original content globally. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished creative leader with proven success in entertainment marketing and a deep understanding of video storytelling across all platforms.

Key job responsibilities

reative Leadership & Vision

Set the creative vision and strategic direction for video advertising campaigns across consumer, B2B, and event marketing initiatives

Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

Drive breakthrough creative solutions that elevate our marketing campaigns and strengthen brand identity

Partner with senior studio leadership and filmmakers to ensure creative alignment with title positioning

Campaign Development & Execution

Oversee development and production of all video advertising materials including trailers, TV spots, social content, and event materials

Guide creative teams and agency partners in developing compelling narratives that resonate across different platforms and audiences

Establish creative standards and processes that ensure consistent quality across all deliverables

Lead creative reviews and presentations to stakeholders, including executive producers and senior leadership

Strategic Planning & Innovation

Identify opportunities for innovative approaches to video marketing that differentiate our content in the marketplace

Develop creative strategies that maximize impact across global markets

Drive efficiency and excellence in creative operations, including resource allocation and budget management

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, agencies, and vendors

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of entertainment marketing experience with deep expertise in video creative direction

Proven track record leading creative teams and major campaigns for global entertainment brands

a portfolio demonstrating innovative video marketing campaigns

Strong understanding of global marketing needs and territory-specific creative requirements

Expert knowledge of production processes, post-production, and creative technologies

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote

Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions

Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery

Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)

Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives

Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
