The Director Product Marketing, US Digital Health will report to the Head of Digital Health Marketing and is responsible for driving US product marketing for Samsung Health apps and services.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Create product marketing strategy and plans in alignment with business goals and execute to plan
  • Market Strategy Development:
    • Lead the creation and execution of data-driven go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand messaging.
    • Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer trends, pain points, and competitive landscape in the digital health industry.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging:
    • Develop clear and compelling product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions that differentiate our products in the consumer health market.
    • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to distill complex product features into benefits-focused messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate and coordinate with global and other internal stakeholder marketing to ensure alignment between product offerings, US market customer needs, and overall marketing strategy.
    • Work closely with content, design teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and an integrated approach across channels.
  • Campaign & Content Strategy:
    • Lead end-to-end marketing campaigns to drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement across digital channels
    • Develop a rich content calendar that includes product collateral, case studies, webinars, blogs, videos, and educational resources aimed at engaging users and showcasing product benefits.
  • Customer Insights & Persona Development:
    • Gather customer and market insights to inform product roadmap decisions and to guide marketing and content strategies.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization:
    • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for all product marketing initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver measurable impact.
    • Conduct post-launch evaluations and continuously optimize strategies based on performance data and consumer feedback.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles, ideally within consumer health, digital health, or technology products.
  • Proven experience in go-to-market planning and execution for consumer-focused health and health care applications
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills with a proven ability to provide clarity in complex situations
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, both internally and with partners, customers

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored, and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
  • Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position.
  • There will be significant travel to develop & manage to the business goals

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $170,000 and $205,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
