We are looking for a Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer with a familiarity of identity and access management, security, and/or cloud-native technologies to work closely with our engineering teams to drive the impact of our identity platform to technical practitioners. You are a good fit if you enjoy educating and influencing technical audiences about new game-changing technologies and their benefits.
Responsibilities
Main Tasks
- Create engaging educational content for technical practitioners such as Developers that motivates them to engage with us
- Create blog posts, product demos, chalk talk type of content to drive our audience to sign up for Zitadel Cloud
- Create “better together” content to demonstrate enterprise integrations to drive adoption for Zitadel Enterprise
- Research new ecosystem technologies and create educational content
- Define and develop reference architectures, sample apps, and proof-of-code examples
- Deliver technical content during webinars and livestream events to build the Zitadel brand awareness
Additional Tasks
- Represent Zitadel at in-person and virtual events and build topical technical demos to showcase at these events
- Collaborate with the Community team to determine technical content creation plan
- Collaborate with the Sales and Sales Engineering teams to create bottom-of-the-funnel content for deal acceleration
- Collaborate with our strategic alliance partners to create co-marketing content
Skills &Experience
Must-haves
- Technical background and experience: You will be creating technical content targeted to a technical practitioner audience. Similar prior experience is critical in this role.
- Writing: You will be creating content for English-speaking audiences; fluency in English –writing technical content and being able to deliver talks (through webinars or live stream events) is extremely important in this role.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management tools, authentication platforms, etc.
- Familiarity or an understanding of cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices

- You understand how to be productive in a remote environment with teams distributed across time zones
- You know how to communicate asynchronously and plan ahead with a geographically dispersed team
- You collaborate (not compete) with your team members; we are all working together towards a common goal
