Required Technical Skills You possess a robust foundation in software engineering and deep learning, gained through self-directed study, hands-on experience, or through your PhD. You have published work in leading ML conferences or acquired practical experience in training multimodal foundation models. Foundation Models:
Experience in training Language and Vision Models, or other foundation models. Product Development:
Proven track record in defining, building, and launching innovative products. Programming:
Proficient in Python. Machine Learning:
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in deep learning, particularly in computer vision and foundational model architectures (PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow). Robotics:
Experience here is advantageous, but not a prerequisite. Data Management:
Skilled in working with distributed data pipelines (Beam/Spark/WebDataset). Backend Development:
Experience in designing scalable and highly available server-side solutions (Python, NodeJS, or Golang). Cloud Computing:
Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure management (Docker, Kubernetes, GPU scheduling) on platforms (GCP, AWS). Monitoring:
Practical experience with logging and monitoring tools such as DataDog, Sentry, or CloudWatch. Security Compliance:
Understanding of security standards and data regulation measures (i.e., GDPR, SOC2). Version Control:
Comprehensive knowledge of Git and experience collaborating using platforms like GitHub or GitLab. Domain Knowledge:
