Job Description
Salary: $165,000 - $225,000 OTE
Role Overview
At SecureW2, we're challenging the security status quo and the "sea of sameness" that plagues most cybersecurity companies. We believe authentication should be dynamic, smart, and built for modern organizations, without the usual complexity. As the Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) , you'll be at the center of this mission, playing a key role in how we communicate our technical value, shape product innovation, and connect with customers.
This is not your typical marketing role. You'll be hands-on with our product, embedded in customer conversations, and working alongside Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to make sure our messaging is as strong as our technology. You'll help shape our story, differentiate us in the market, and drive real impact, all while having the freedom to experiment, take risks, and push creative boundaries.
If you love translating technical depth into compelling narratives, uncovering competitive advantages, and collaborating across teams to build something great, this is your chance to do it in a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.
What You'll Do
- Turn customer insights into product innovation. Work closely with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Management to bring customer feedback directly into the product development and messaging cycle.
- Develop technical content worth reading. Create whitepapers, competitive analyses, solution briefs, blogs, videos, and sales enablement materials that make complex security concepts engaging and easy to understand.
- Refine competitive positioning. Dig into the market, analyze competitors, and help SecureW2 stand out with messaging that cuts through the noise.
- Support sales and channel enablement. Provide technical collateral, training, and demo assets that help our teams win deals.
- Experiment and innovate. Try new content formats, test creative engagement strategies, and think outside the box to make SecureW2's message memorable.
- Engage in public speaking & thought leadership. Be a visible advocate for SecureW2 by leading webinars, customer briefings, and industry discussions.
Who You Are
You thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where big ideas turn into real execution. You enjoy blending technical depth with storytelling and don't settle for the status quo. You're excited about making an impact and having fun doing it.
- Strategic & execution-driven. You think big-picture but also roll up your sleeves to get things done.
- Customer & buyer-centric. You understand what customers need and use that insight to shape messaging and product positioning.
- Technical storyteller. You make security concepts clear, compelling, and engaging for IT professionals and decision-makers.
- Confident public speaker. You enjoy leading discussions, presenting at industry events, and delivering compelling narratives to technical audiences.
- Hands-on & iterative. You move fast, try new things, and refine your approach based on impact.
- Collaborative & fun. You enjoy working with cross-functional teams, sharing ideas, and building something great together.
What You Bring

- Ability to create technical collateral, including whitepapers, solution briefs, competitive analyses, and technical video content.
- Experience conducting competitive research and market analysis to refine positioning, messaging, and differentiation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, Zero Trust).
