The Chief Compliance Officer & Head of Regulatory will lead CLEAR's Compliance & Regulatory teams within Legal while working with teams across the company to build products & programs consistent with global laws & regulations.
What you'll do :
- Oversee an effective compliance program per DOJ & SEC guidance, including, e.g., internal investigations & reporting; anti-bribery & anti-corruption program controls & training; & other aspects of doing business with integrity & in accordance with evolving laws & regulations.
- Provide practical legal guidance to the business on regulatory matters locally, nationally & internationally as a subject matter expert on existing & evolving regulatory frameworks, including the ongoing monitoring & tracking of trends, enforcement, & public policy.
- Design & implement effective compliance & regulatory strategies, policies, & procedures to drive company results while meeting legal requirements & customer expectations across all relevant sectors.
- Work closely with Security, Internal Audit & the People team as well as the business to conduct risk assessments, develop & improve the control environment, & build & maintain customer trust.
- Lead CLEAR's Regulatory & Compliance teams while managing & creating strong relationships internally & externally.

- Delivering innovative & sound strategy & solutions for the business consistent with regulatory frameworks & strengthened relationships with regulators & customers.

What you're great at :
- 15+ years of experience in regulatory law & compliance at a law firm or in-house.
- Working directly with non-lawyers to minimize & resolve issues quickly & effectively.
- Motivated by responsibility & autonomy to solve problems.
- Providing proactive, pragmatic legal counseling to business partners.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions.
- Business communication & analytical skills, as well as a strong sense of ownership & accountability.

The base salary range for this role is $300,000 - $330,000, depending on levels of skills & experience.
The base salary range represents the low & high end of CLEAR's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience & performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR's total compensation package for employees & other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
