Farm Bureau Financial Services has an opening for a highly motivated Senior Creative Specialist to join our dynamic team of marketing professionals. The optimal candidate will collaborate with our team to develop advertising and marketing materials that build awareness, visibility and relevance for our companies, brand, and agents/advisors.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Provide leadership and expertise to develop and execute a variety of digital and print design assets across multiple channels and mediums.
- Translate creative briefs into compelling creative concepts.
- Ensure brand consistency throughout various marketing projects that support business strategies and goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and exceeding stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborating with team members, including writers and multichannel campaign leads to recommend and produce effective creative solutions on time and on budget.
- Update and maintain designs files.
- Stay informed of industry trends, design best practices and emerging tools to develop innovative, competitive creative output.
- Partner with external vendors to ensure high-quality production and execution of creative materials.
- College degree (graphic design, advertising, marketing) or equivalent plus minimum of 6 years relevant experience required. Experience in the insurance industry or advertising industry preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Proficient in design software such as Figma, Google Web Designer, and Microsoft Copilot (preferred but not required).
- Experience in both digital and print design, with a deep understanding of production requirements.
- Event graphics and promotion, web design, animation or photography experience are a plus.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain exceptional quality standards.
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to articulate creative ideas and decisions.
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; initiative-taking, flexible and adaptable to new situations.
- Some travel may be required.
