BrightFarms is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing & Innovation Team in revolutionizing the future of food and the health of our planet! As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting a variety of marketing initiatives that assist with the development of new products, promotional activations and directly support consumers. This exciting role reports to the Director of Innovation and provides an opportunity to learn and grow within the larger Marketing organization in a fast-growing company and industry. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days in our Irvington, NY office and remote on other days. Some travel is required (10%).


Specifically, you will:

  • Support the commercial tasks of the innovation process to develop new products
  • Complete time-sensitive tasks (forms, approvals, communications) that facilitate new SKUs at strategic retailers
  • Partner with marketing leadership to execute consumer research projects
  • Draft and manage customer-facing material with external designers/agencies
  • Coordinate internal and external product samples to customers and partners
  • Manage the marketing and innovation budget
  • Manage BrightFarms customer service agency, helping guide the strategy and execution of best-in-class service to our consumers.
  • Be the go-to connection between our People & Culture department and marketing, including managing all swag and the company store
  • Manage in-market events such as field surveys, local events, and regional tradeshows
  • Serve as the community manager across several social channels including Google and LinkedIn

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in CPG
  • A great mix of creative and analytical thinking, customer-focused and brand-obsessed
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and relationship-building skills
  • Passion and commitment towards sustainability and making the world a better place
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit, a founder’s mentality, and are a self-starter, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
  • Collaborative, flexible, and enjoy working with other passionate people across multiple functions within the organization.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Candidates should have experience with marketing high growth, consumer brands in digital and retail environments.
