Marketing Manager 

About the Role:

Kuumba Made Inc. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives. This position will lead the development of a comprehensive marketing strategy and drive cohesion and consistency across all marketing efforts. The individual will be capable of leading marketing initiatives and executing in collaboration with the creative, sales, and customer service teams to meet company growth targets. The selected candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker who is an adept communicator with a proven track record of executing cohesive marketing strategies and guiding company efforts to increase market share in existing and new markets.  

Key Responsibilities: 

 ·       Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand presence, market share, and overall cohesiveness. 

·       Supervise and collaborate with the creative team to develop marketing materials, digital content, and advertising campaigns and ensure          all marketing material is aligned with brand strategy. 

·       Work closely with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure marketing strategies align with sales goals and production capabilities. 

·       Manage outside marketing consultants including PR firms, ad agencies, and creative contributors 

·       Conduct market research and advise company accordingly 

·       Utilize internal and external data in strategy and execution 

·       Make data driven decisions and recommendations and present key metrics to various internal audiences. 

·       Develop annual promotional campaigns and sponsorships that drive consumer engagement, brand loyalty, and meet sales targets.

·       Contribute to sales target setting and regular sales meetings    

·       Manage various marketing channels and oversee consultants’ work where relevant 

·       Manage strategy, goal setting, and execution of internal promotions, sponsorships, and rewards programs.   

·       Provide training and support to sales and customer service teams on products, promotions, and marketing initiatives.  

·       Lead event planning and execution 

Qualifications: 

·       Experience in setting marketing strategies and independently and collaboratively executing strategy.

·       Experience in market research, analysis, and data-driven decision making.

·       Excellent managerial, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. 

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

·       Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement 

·       Ability to work collaboratively and lead multiple projects and consultants simultaneously.

·       Proven track record collaborating with sales and customer service teams 

·       Proven ability to advise on brand strategy, brand presence, and product launches. 

·       Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and e-commerce strategies.
