Do you love music, nature and children? The Ashokan Center, a 501c (3) not for profit, is looking for a bright, reliable, creative and strategic Marketing Manager to grow our online presence, increase event attendance, and enhance brand awareness. This is a full-time position with the possibility to work remotely.
The Marketing Manager reports to the Managing Director and will help design and implement marketing strategies to enhance and grow Ashokan programming and increase public awareness of our programs and events. This is a unique opportunity to work at a leading community-based organization that celebrates nature, music, history and art.
Located in Olivebridge, NY on 385 acres of fields, forests, trails, and streams, the Ashokan Center is a magical place that has provided high quality, innovative environmental education programs for K-12 school students and teachers for over 50 years. We also host retreats, weddings, public events, concerts, lectures, and the world renowned Ashokan Music & Dance Camps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a $120,000 Google Ads Grant and optimize digital presence.
- Develop and execute social media strategies, email marketing, and press outreach.
- Create engaging content, including blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Capture and edit video/photo content; oversee freelance creatives.
- Collaborate with teams to align marketing efforts and event promotion.
Qualifications:
- Experience in digital marketing, social media, or related fields.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency (or willingness to learn) Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Slack, Airtable.
- Passion for community engagement and Ashokan’s mission.
