As a Social Media Intern at Hawk Ridge Systems, you'll be more than just a content creator - you'll play a part in shaping how we show up online. You'll work closely with the Demand Generation team, learning our brand's voice, testing new ideas, and building a stronger social presence.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Instagram Strategy & Management:
    • Conduct discovery to understand business goals & objectives
    • Develop and implement a refreshed Instagram strategy.
    • Create a content calendar and draft engaging posts.
    • Monitor engagement, analyze performance, and recommend optimizations.
  • Brand Positioning & Research:
    • Conduct research on Hawk Ridge Systems' products, services, and competitors.
    • Collaborate with team members to understand brand messaging.
    • Help build a positioning guide or messaging framework for social.
  • Content Ideation & Experimentation:
    • Brainstorm and test new content formats (Reels, carousels, stories, etc.).
    • Stay updated on platform trends and suggest innovative ideas.
  • Business Acumen & Team Insights:
    • Observe team communication, project management, and leadership practices.
    • Compile a reflective summary with observations and recommendations.
  • Collaboration & Learning:
    • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas.
    • Work cross-functionally with design, content, and marketing ops teams.
