Management This is a temporary position. Corporate Financial Accounting (“CFA”) is a headquarter-based accounting department responsible for the accounting and reporting relating to Marriott’s investment, development, joint venture, foreign exchange, debt, Environment, Social, and Governance (“ESG”), and international banking activities. As a member of the Corporate Financial Accounting Team, the Director will partner with other Marriott colleagues to increase overall organizational awareness and engagement related to the ESG operational business objectives, including playing an integral role in the training and implementation related to new processes and controls, along with Net Zero Cloud system roll-out to support ESG reporting and compliance. The Director will be responsible for leading the change management and communication efforts in collaboration with the overall program team and discipline partners. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
Build
trusted relationships
with key stakeholders across
Global Finance, Global Operations (Engineering, Sustainability, etc.), Human Resources, Legal, and Continent teams
to drive alignment and engagement. Demonstrate a
proactive learning mindset
by staying informed on
ESG reporting requirements, program objectives, timelines, and key milestones
to effectively support change initiatives. Develop a
deep understanding of risk and controls, system functionality, and end-to-end process design
to ensure seamless implementation and adoption. Lead
cross-functional collaboration
to create, refine, and deliver
engaging communications
such as
email updates, publications, presentations, training materials, FAQs, and other tools
that drive awareness and change adoption. Capture
stakeholder feedback , analyze insights, and translate them into
actionable next steps
to enhance change effectiveness. Ensure
processes, documentation, and certifications
are maintained, communicated effectively, and successfully executed by impacted teams. Stay informed on
industry trends and best practices
in ESG and change management, translating complex technical concepts into
clear, non-technical language
for key partners and executives. Present
change management and communication strategies
in
ESG leadership and steering committees
as needed. Identify
opportunities for continuous improvement
in communication approaches and change management strategies, implementing enhancements where applicable. Track and report
progress on change initiatives , providing
timely updates, risk escalations, and recommendations
to leadership. CANDIDATE PROFILEKEY TALENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent project management and change management skills. Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communications skills required. Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically MS PowerPoint. High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement resolutions. Strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving abilities; makes decisions using data; anticipates risks and consequences of current issues on future project outcomes. Ability to build and maintain key relationships and to coordinate with other departments. Customer-service oriented perspective and an effective listener. Must be a self-starter, capable of identifying needs/requirements and taking independent action. EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree required (Business major preferred). CCMP or advanced certification preferred. Minimum 7 years’ experience, including managing others. The pay range for this position is $56.58 to $94.18 per hour. Washington Applicants Only:
Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive a minimum of 9 holidays annually.
