legal . We are seeking a

Head of Publishing Operations

to drive growth in publishing networks and new vertical expansions. The

Head of Publishing Operations

will be responsible for leading and growing all partnerships with affiliates and third-party platforms, launching new categories within

home services , and expanding into high-growth sectors such as

insurance and legal . This role will oversee the optimization of our

Connect platform

to maximize lead distribution and marketplace efficiency. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, including media and product, to identify and implement opportunities that increase the overall value to advertisers. This is a key leadership role, requiring strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of performance marketing dynamics. Responsibilities:Platform Growth:

Manage and scale affiliate, third-party platform partnerships, and strategic advertiser relationships. Identify, onboard, and optimize high-performing affiliates across multiple verticals, ensuring growth in revenue and lead quality. Marketplace Optimization:

Oversee the optimization of marketplace dynamics within the

Connect platform

to improve traffic distribution and advertiser ROI. Collaborate with the product team to enhance platform capabilities and develop features that improve overall performance. Category Expansion:

Launch and manage new categories in emerging verticals, with a focus on

insurance and legal

markets. Work closely with media and product teams to capture demand and refine category-specific lead generation strategies. Monetization Strategies:

Partner with media leadership to develop innovative methods to monetize traffic from internal and external sources. Optimize lead arbitrage opportunities, ensuring maximum profitability and advertiser satisfaction. Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the publishing operations team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Provide strategic guidance and actionable insights to optimize performance across departments. Cross-Department Collaboration:

Partner with the product team to drive platform enhancements and marketplace efficiency. Collaborate with sales, media, and customer success teams to deliver high-value lead generation outcomes. Key Performance Metrics:

Growth in affiliate-driven revenue and overall marketplace profitability. Expansion into new verticals and successful category launches. Optimization of marketplace arbitrage and improved lead conversion rates. Increased lead quality and reduced advertiser churn. Reporting Structure:

This role will report directly to the

Performance Marketing Leader

and will work closely with

product, media, and sales leaders

to drive company growth. Skills and Experience Needed for Success:

7+ years

of experience in

affiliate marketing, performance marketing, publishing operations, or lead generation . Strong understanding of lead arbitrage, auction-based marketplaces, and performance optimization. Experience managing large-scale affiliate networks or auction-based lead distribution systems. Expertise in launching and managing lead generation strategies across multiple verticals, including

home services, insurance, and legal . Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging data to optimize performance and maximize ROI. Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Where:

The target OTE compensation range for this position is

$120,000-$140,000

annually depending on experience. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise.
