As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You’ll work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. You’ll also be able to experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people. As a Senior Software Development Manager, you'll be executing against a vision that requires us to invent new ways to deliver the features, quality, and convenience our customers have come to expect from Amazon. You'll hire and develop talented software engineers and software and program managers to build out the next generation of the content viewing platform. You will work with our engineering, business, product, and operations teams worldwide to define tangible roadmaps, drive execution of significantly complex programs, raise the bar on engineering quality, and drive operational excellence initiatives. What you'll do: Manage and grow a technical team including their roadmaps, programs, performance, and career growth for managers and ICs. Invent, simplify, and collaborate with peers and product to deliver against bold roadmaps. Clearly communicate priorities, decisions, risks, and solutions with your team, management, and principal stakeholders. Work with your managers to determine scope and estimate development effort. Lead systems design, architecture, and scaling discussions. Influence new industry standards. Argue for the right outcomes with data, conviction, and diplomacy. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of engineering experience. 5+ years of engineering team management experience. 10+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software experience. Experience partnering with product or program management teams. Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
