Senior UX Designer Job Location:

860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086 Duties: Independently propose hypothesis for research. Provide inputs to modify research approaches and execution plans. Guide research processes with inputs regarding type, quality, and quantity of data and information to be collected. Verify the reliability and accuracy of the information. Detect gaps in information uncovered and remove unreliable information. Clarify and resolve inconsistencies in the data. Analyze and interpret relevant data for results and important insights. Translate research insights and metrics into actionable recommendations that inform design and business strategies. Assess gaps between business expectations and user experience strategies. Leverage understanding of trends in user consumption habits to develop or improve interaction design and user experience strategies. Anticipate and mitigate risks during information synthesis and independently arrive at possible solutions for interactive designs. Analyze and interpret existing data. Define and document design details through process flows, site maps, wireframes, and functional specifications. Adhere to and use interaction patterns and templates to design consistent and scalable design solutions. Understand the basics of testing against a design specification. Identify activities and documents associated with user acceptance testing. Compile a list of procedures and guidelines for tests developers and end users. Explain features and objectives of alpha and beta tests. Perform visual quality assurance against a design specification and solve issues. Ensure adherence to and the usage of templates and style guides. Contribute to the pattern library. Design and develop prototypes and technical proofs of concept using a range of tools. Build interactive models that can access live content. Diagnose and report prototyping problems found while building working models. Build and maintain customer relations to understand customer requirements and problems. Create customer journey touchpoints to anticipate product enhancements. Simplify and improve processes to reduce turnaround times, increase effectiveness, and drive customer delight. Communicate articulately and concisely in stakeholder meetings. Influence team and stakeholders to take meaningful action with sound recommendations. Independently prepare clear, concise, logically structured and meaningful reports based on facts. Seek and provide constructive feedback, anticipate needs/questions, respond appropriately. Build, maintain and enhance effective internal and external partnerships. Identify and address additional partner technical needs and educate them on value creation. Consult with leaders of business unit(s) and advise on business strategy decisions. Minimum education and experience required:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Advertising, or related area and 3 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area;

OR

Master's degree or the equivalent in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Advertising, or related area and 1 year of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Skills required:

Experience creating end to end flows, information architecture, wireframing, and screen and animation prototypes by using Figma, InVision, Sketch, Zeplin, and Adobe Suite. Experience gathering business requirements and conducting best practice heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis, and secondary research. Experience creating platform-specific designs based on their respective design languages. Experience designing and documenting user flow diagrams and application information architecture using one of the following tools: Sketch, Figma (FigJam), or InVision Freehand. Experience coordinating user testing efforts, interpreting test results, and incorporating results into design cadences within the larger product lifecycle. Experience collaborating with product managers and estimating the scope and size of projects. Experience planning acceptance criteria and setting milestones for deliverables. Experience producing detailed design documentation and design specifications required to implement the designs. Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Figma. Experience leading workshops, journey discovery sessions, and ideation activities to ideate solutions and direct those concepts to completion. Experience analyzing customer behaviors and identifying patterns from various markets. Salary Range:

$148,845/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Benefits:
