No County: Kings Street Address: 212 Evergreen Avenue City: Brooklyn State: NY Duties Description High-profile, progressive New York State Senator representing a New York City district seeks highly qualified Communications Director. Job requires demonstrated skills in message development, copywriting, cultivating constructive relationships with the press, comprehensive familiarity with creating content for all main social media platforms, and more. Role also requires formulating, implementing, and overseeing multi-component communications plans around top legislative and district priorities. Minimum Qualifications To be considered, you must have four years of experience in political communications. The ideal candidate will: Be Spanish bilingual Possess video production/editing experience Be familiar with top issues such as criminal justice, housing, and labor Some night and weekend availability is also required. Position based in district office, with very occasional travel to Albany during legislative session. Additional Comments Salary range: $85,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience.
