The position of Global Director, Marketing is a crucial role responsible for Advertising Week's global marketing strategy and execution.

This role requires a real all-rounder. You'll be excellent at data-driven marketing but also a creative thinker. You'll be strategically minded but hands on. With events across the world, you need to have a formula that works but be ready to pivot and change.
This role will play a key part in the future growth of Advertising Week as the go-to platform for thought leadership, networking and business development.
This position will be based out of our NYC office.
What We're Looking For
A business-to-business marketer with a track record of designing and delivering successful omnichannel marketing campaigns to grow audiences for our events in New York, Europe, LATAM and our other events in the Asia region, along with year-round content. Experience in managing CRM solutions and building global marketing database as a robust audience acquisition, conversion and retention asset, with a particular focus on email marketing, audience experience, research and insight. Knowledge of Hubspot an advantage. Ability to craft strong sales materials and marketing for sponsors, building lead generation and sales pipelines, along with strong nurture programs. Own and run Advertising Week's paid media campaigns, using budget in each region to deliver returns. Oversee Advertising Week's marketing websites, ensuring all copy and imagery are updated to promote the events and year-round content. Experience of working across global markets and timezones with teams across the world. Marketing KPIs and performance measurement. Experience in goal setting, metrics analysis, interpreting and sharing data to make informed decisions quickly and pivot when necessary by optimizing strategies in real-time. Experienced at building, executing and measuring local/national/global media and PR plans layering digital, social, SEO, print, OOH, video and audio-paid, earned and barter. Strong track record in building and engaging audiences through social and guiding content creation with a genuine passion for staying on top of the latest platform features, technologies, trends and best practices. Collaborative approach to working with multiple internal stakeholders, but equally able to shape and successful relationships with external agencies, partners and vendors. Work closely with all departments-sales, programming, production, operations, etc.-to tap into internal knowledge, expertise, and assets. Effectively harvest and integrate insights from these teams into marketing campaigns to ensure unified and impactful messaging Lead and inspire the marketing team, while providing clear direction on prioritizing initiatives. Able to assess multiple ideas, making decisions on which to pursue to ensure alignment with overarching business goals, and adapt strategies as needed Experience creating media partnership packages with multiple media and trade association partners across different regions. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $130,000-140,000 (bonus eligible)
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate's qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
