The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

This role can be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Mountain or New York.

LinkedIn is seeking an exceptional Group Manager, Digital Marketing Innovation to join our Labs team within our Channel Strategy and Operations group. This role is crucial for driving our team mission to power LinkedIn marketing’s competitive advantage via visionary techniques while revolutionizing the marketing industry. We’re looking for a Digital marketing leader to oversee marketing channel innovation and orchestrate AI first audience technology, ad operations, and measurement techniques across our global media team.

As part of the Channel Strategy and Operations Labs team, you will be responsible for bringing industry leading ideas to life through ideation, testing, and validation. As the Group Manager, Digital Marketing Innovation, you will be responsible for:

Driving key innovation initiatives across our owned channel portfolio (LinkedIn Ads and Email)Act as “Customer Zero” by partnering with our LinkedIn Ads Product, Product Marketing, Engineering and Sales teams to bring new products and services to lifeDevelop and expand the global marketing team’s brand safety, trust, and suitability strategy and roadmapOversee the media team’s AI orchestration strategy which consists of audience technology, ad operations, and measurement initiativesResponsibilities:

Lead a high performing team of individuals towards impactful and innovative marketing solutions that help grow LinkedIn Marketings impact on the business.Propose, test, and measure new-to-LinkedIn or new-to-industry ideas that keep LinkedIn at the forefront of the marketing ecosystem.Partner with internal and external stakeholders to lead and oversee our “Customer Zero” program that ensures our own ad products are at the forefront of driving impact across our channel ecosystem.Drive our ad tech strategy through the evaluation, onboarding, and performance of vendors (internal or external) as it relates to trust, ad operations, audiences, optimization, and measurement.Build and test new optimization techniques leveraging AI/ML including attention and other media quality metrics to help drive campaign ROI.Partner with LinkedIn’s Global Issue Response Council to define and launch strategic initiatives aimed at protecting our members on the platform.Stay ahead of customer expectations, regulatory guidance, and industry trends to pinpoint actionable opportunities within our Channels Strategy and Operations teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and execute AdTech strategy including Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), audience platforms (CDPs, identity platforms, etc), brand safety (IAS, Double Verify) and attention technologies (Adelaide, Lumen, etc).Partner with our Marketing Analytics teams to drive unified ad operations strategies across channels (paid, owned, email) that impact Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and modeled attribution methodologies, the cornerstone of our marketing analytics ecosystem.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:BA/BS degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience.8+ years of marketing experience.Preferred Qualifications:Proven leadership in defining and articulating team vision, driving goal achievement, and resolving obstacles to ensure success.Ability to break down an ambiguous or complex problem, structure a solution and offer recommendations.Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and/or working with or within an advertising or marketing agency or similar internal team.Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem (AdTech, MarTech).Experience using and/or developing marketing measurement systems.Understanding of the LinkedIn Ads ecosystems including LinkedIn Campaign Manager and its testing, optimization, and measurement capabilities.Strong and clear communication and presentation skills to audiences at all levels, including executive leadership.Comfortable working in an experimental and extremely fast-paced environment within a complex, matrixed organization.Suggested Skills:Team LeadershipStrategic ThinkingThought Leadership and Industry ExpertiseCommunication (written and verbal)LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $144,000 to $224,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
