Job Description
The Riders are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Content & Creative Team!
Reporting to the Manager, Content & Creative, this individual will be responsible for designing and executing high-quality graphic content to support various departments within the Club. The successful candidate will bring innovation, creativity, and collaboration to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role works closely with a highly creative team that includes a senior graphic designer, photographers, videographers, and social media coordinator.
Requirements
Where will your talents be focused?
- Collaborate with the Club’s senior graphic designer to develop creative assets that align with our brand identity and industry best practices
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and fan engagement
- Support digital channels, including Riderville.com, the Rider App, and social media platforms
- Assist in photography selection, content creation, and asset management throughout the season
- Maintain and organize logos, imagery, and graphic files
- Stay current on design trends to ensure the continued evolution of the brand
- Contribute new content ideas during weekly brainstorm meetings
- Other design-related duties as assigned
What is needed to be successful in this role?
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field
- 1+ years of professional experience in graphic design (internship or freelance experience considered)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Secondary skills in Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and After Effects are an asset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for sports, entertainment, and fan engagement
- Availability to work irregular hours, including Rider game days
