Provides project management support to creative services manager and team leads: Guides complex creative projects and multichannel deliverable programs from inception to execution to completion, ensuring that the creative project team efficiently produces high-quality work in alignment with marketing success measures and all deliverable requirements.
This is a hybrid position expected to work in a Tyler office three days per week. Preferably in either Plano, Texas or Yarmouth, Maine.
Responsibilities
The Creative Project Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Planning and organization: Scopes complex creative projects. Conducts kick-off calls with internal clients or external vendors/agencies. Defines project specifications, goals, deadlines, and deliverables. Ensures project goals align to marketing universal success measures, reports on results, and manages scope creep.
Driving project accountability: Captures and clarifies deliverable KPIs. Manages client relationships and stakeholder expectations using strong communication skills.
Validation: Reviews and validates the creative brief and gains approval/buy-in from all stakeholder groups; ensures all project components and content is approved in advance and ready for execution.
Resource allocation:Identifies all project resources (content, creative, development, etc.) and information needed to successfully execute; coordinates with team leaders (across functional lines as needed) to assemble project teams and assign appropriate resources.
Project scheduling: Defines and manages project task stages & durations, milestones, schedules, deadlines.
Cost management: Estimates projects cost, defines budget, monitors spend.
Monitoring: Organizes and leads project meetings and workshops; identifies and eliminates roadblocks to success, manages project review and approval sessions; appropriately leverages available workflow and project management /collaboration tools.
Closing out projects: Communication, sign-off, asset delivery and archiving. Facilitate measurement and reporting of deliverable impact. Conducts lessons learned sessions and produces after action reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (preferred).
- Background in creative fields (graphic design, content creation, UX/UI, video production, etc.) is a plus
- Familiarity with technology and digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, web development, etc.)
- Proficient in project management tools and processes
- Ability to develop and track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Experience motivating and inspiring teams while ensuring deadlines are met
- Organized and detail oriented with excellent communication, documentation, and follow-up skills
