Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Digital Restoration Artist to join our innovative team. This on-site role provides an opportunity to work with digital restoration tools and techniques while maintaining the integrity and quality of original content. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of professional experience or relevant skills that translate well to film restoration. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Swing Shift)
Salary: 25.00-28.00 USD Per Hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to receive and execute restoration assignments.
  • Utilize digital restoration software to address film and video anomalies.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure deliverables meet company and industry standards.
  • Accurately log time and update media order systems to track project progress.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work with operational and client service teams to resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Adhere to company quality guidelines and seek to enhance workflows with input from the department manager.
  • Ensure departmental policies and procedures are upheld, maintaining exceptional service standards for clients.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Basic understanding of digital restoration processes and techniques.
  • Familiarity with film-based post-production workflows and industry specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Eagerness to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new workflows quickly.

Preferred or a Plus:

  • Proficiency with MTI DRS, Phoenix DRS software or PFClean.

Education and Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.
