About the Role
Driving university-wide transformation, the Change and Communications Lead spearheads impactful change and communication strategies for the COO-P. This role demands autonomous leadership of end-to-end change delivery, coupled with cultivating a high-performing team of Change Managers and Analysts. Beyond team leadership, the role actively refines change practice through governance, improvement initiatives, and strategic pipeline management, ensuring the team operates at peak efficiency and delivers exceptional quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive change strategies, plans, and communication initiatives aligned with university goals, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and effective execution.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing change team, managing resources, and continuously improving change management processes through data-driven insights and best practice implementation.
  • Providing end-to-end change services, including impact assessment, risk mitigation, training, and robust monitoring, while equipping the university with essential tools and resources for successful transformation.

Who we are looking for
We are seeking a highly skilled change leader with expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and impactful communication. This individual will possess a strong grasp of modern change methodologies, excel in providing executive support, and demonstrate a proven ability to independently manage complex initiatives while fostering collaborative relationships. They will prioritise effectively, thrive in agile environments, and embody core organisational values, consistently delivering exceptional service.

You will also have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • A minimum of 3 years change management experience.
  • Experience in providing strategic advice, exceptional client service and senior executive support in the context of a large, complex organisation.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
