Apparel Graphics Designer - CAD - Sports Logos

Adecco Creative and Marketing is searching for a Graphics Designer for a clothing company that designs, manufactures, and sells apparel for men and women. The company owns and licenses a portfolio of over 30 brands and is based in NYC.

• This role is 5 days a week on-site; 40 hours a week
• Temp to perm for the right fit
• Up to $45/hr
• Must have strong men's or sports graphics background
• This is not a marketing digital/graphic design role, this is for apparel graphics

Brand/Product Focus: Sports Licensing | Menswear

Responsibilities

• Research:
• Stay current on trends, new techniques, and resources in graphic and print design
• Identify relevant trends for each season and present new Color & Concept ideas
• Communicate with factories to stay abreast and develop new techniques
• Identify brand and trend right prints that will work in upcoming seasons
• Interpret allover prints to fit each delivery by resizing, tweaking, and recoloring
• Make sure all prints sit together in each delivery harmoniously, and that they fit the overarching theme
• Execute prints and graphics to be ready for factory (color separating, repeating, technique, and color pitch) using Adobe Photoshop
• Communication:
• Track print development and comment on samples and strike-offs promptly for correct execution
• Partner with the Legal Department to ensure that designs are not trademarked and can be utilized

Qualifications

• Bachelors- preferably in Print Design/Graphic Design
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
• 2+ years of previous work experience
