  • The Dobbs Ferry School District seeks School Library Media Specialist effective August 27, 2025. This is a full-time, probationary, tenure track position. New York State Certification School Media Specialist; candidates eligible for the internship certification or enrolled in an approved library media program are encouraged to apply.

    Description:

    The successful candidate ensures that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; empowers students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers and ethical users of information; instills a love of learning in all students and ensures equitable access to information; collaborates with classroom teachers and specialists to design and implement lessons and units of instruction, and assess student learning and instructional effectiveness.

    Salary commensurate with experience and terms of employment are in accordance with the Dobbs Ferry United Teachers contract. Qualified candidates may apply via OLAS by 5:00 p.m. on March 18, 2025.
